The schools are the enablers
The contemporary education system has its own administrative baggage and challenges to fulfill the actual need of the society. On the other hand, the emerging technologies have disrupted every walk of life leading to drastic change in the socio-economic expectations of the communities. And hence, there are many gaps in the education system. The program "Skills by Nature" is one such attempt to fill these gaps where the learner experiences the complexities of the real-world, solves the problem and achieves the goals with his consistent and systematic efforts.
The DIY activities reinforce the concepts of Science, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Life skills to complement what they study in classrooms theoretically. Interestingly, we help schools to mark a small area for reclaiming wild nature as a living laboratory. With all safety measures, the natural habitat is a source of inspiration to young minds in many ways.

The experiential learning program is offered as an optional co-curricular activity to the students by inviting their parents to sponsor. The smaller cohorts with participants of same age group is better for the program outcomes. Chandana School at Sirsi had 150 students of class 8 and 9 from 1st batch.
